- 100% tax deductible.
- Only one membership per household required.
- Expires at the end of the calendar year.
- There are eight different levels available. Each has a unique cost and host of benefits.
- All memberships include the following benefits:
- Access to the private pre-sale for the TOWN HALL sale.
- Alfred R. Goldstein Library check-out privileges.
- Invitation to the annual member event in the fall.
- Members-only Book Club
- Additional benefits available depending on the membership level purchased.
- You are considered a MEMBER, if you purchase a Friend, Supporter, Patron, Advocate, Benefactor, Vanguard, Marquis, or Producer for the calendar year.
- TOWN HALL events are lectures with a Q&A session with the special guest speaker that is experienced in their field.
- All events are held at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
- Events take place from January to April, and there are morning events and evening events.
- We sell ticket packages called subscriptions.
- Packages must be bought for each person attending the events.
- We offer four subscription packages–the pricing refers to the location of the seat purchased in the theater.
- Platinum Subscription (Rows 1 – 10)
- Gold Subscription (Rows 11 – 17)
- Silver Subscription (Rows 18 – 22)
- Bronze Subscription (Rows 23 – 29)
- All subscriptions include a tax deductible portion in the cost.
- You are considered a SUBSCRIBER, if you purchase at least one package at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum subscription level.

- Can I be both a MEMBER and a SUBSCRIBER?
- Lots of members end up subscribing to TOWN HALL, and lots of subscribers end up becoming members in the future. You can be both and benefits are maximized when you participate in both.
- How do the programs overlap?
- Members get two benefits tied to the TOWN HALL Speaker Series: 1) they are allowed to submit an order early during the private pre-sale; and 2) members that held ticket packages the previous season are guarantee renewal of those same seats if they purchase at the same level/time during the pre-sale period.
- What if I don’t want to buy a membership but I do want to attend TOWN HALL?
- Our office will include you in the Public Sale that opens after the member pre-sale ends. (For 2026, it’s June 22nd.)
- Please note that if you were a subscriber last season, we cannot guarantee renewal of the same seating if you participate in the Public Sale.
- What if I don’t want to buy a package of tickets?
- Should we have inventory available in January 2027, we will offer individual event tickets (not tied to a package purchase) to our members first, and later to the public. All pending availability.
- What if I don’t want to attend TOWN HALL at all?
- We have a mighty group of members that don’t attend the TOWN HALL events but do participate in Ringling College events like our Book Club or use the Goldstein Library on a daily basis.
- Do I have to become a member every year at the same level?
- No, memberships run on an annual basis and you are welcome to upgrade or downgrade as you wish. But to retain the benefits, a membership must be renewed year over year.
- Do I have to order TOWN HALL tickets at the same level every season?
- No, you are welcome to upgrade or downgrade your package levels–always understanding that the location of the seat will change from what you had the previous year.
- What if I want to skip a season of TOWN HALL?
- We understand that conflicts arise and not everyone is able to renew year over year. You are always welcome to return to the series, but please note that the seating you had before may no longer be available when you return.
- How do I attend the VIP – Speaker Meet and Greet Receptions?
- TOWN HALL is proud to share that members at the Producer, Marquis, and Vanguard levels have access to some/all of the Meet and Greet receptions of the series. TOWN HALL event packages must be purchased separately as well.
